On Friday July 28th, from 9 am till 10 we will be having a
beginning Meditation class at the office.
Neuroscientists have reported that brain structure changes after only eight weeks of meditation.
If you practice relaxation, you get better at it. In other words, the more often you do something the better the brain gets at doing it. This happens in the same way a muscle gets stronger when we workout. People who meditate become happier and healthier.
Meditation supports a sharper mind, more energy, a longer attention span and a higher tolerance to pain. The body is an extension of the mind, if you calm the mind the body relaxes. Over the years, I have found Meditation to be of great benefit in reducing back pain.
I will be giving direction on how to sit comfortably during a meditation, as well as instruction on my favorite technique.
