On Thursday February 22nd from 6:30 till 7:30 we will be having a complimentary beginning Meditation class at the office.

Neuroscientists have reported that brain structure changes after only eight weeks of meditation.

If you sit down to meditate and find you can’t focus for more than a few seconds, your doing it right. Most people find it hard in the beginning. I use a method which makes it easier and more fun.

Remember, when you practice relaxation, you get better at it. You essentially train your brain to be efficient at relaxation. Meditation also supports a sharper mind, more energy, a longer attention span and a higher tolerance for pain. The body is an extension of the mind, if you calm the mind the body relaxes. Over the years, I have found Meditation to be of great benefit in reducing back pain.

I will be giving direction on how to sit comfortably during a meditation, as well as instruction on my favorite technique.
